Grief is a natural, organic moving process that can become stuck. Experiences of loss can be destabilizing and leave individuals disconnected and emotionally stuck. This one-day training examines how Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) helps clients move through the organic process of grief to resilience and connection. Using EFIT\u2019s attachment-based model, you will learn to conceptualize the impacts of loss and the growth process from an attachment perspective, and you will increase your confidence and competence to work with grief and loss with EFIT.\u00a0 This training is designed to enhance your therapeutic effectiveness, expand your EFIT skill set, and support your professional development. Completion counts toward EFIT certification with ICEEFT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Attachment is at the core of understanding the impacts of trauma and loss.
